Michael is an experienced Ground and Cargo Handling executive and board director with 30 years of feet-on-the-ground experience. During his career, he has primarily worked for Swissport in Asia, Europe, Africa and the USA where he delivered projects in the areas of operational excellence, process improvements, digitisation, quality, health & safety and GSE management.

He has extensive experience in Ground and Cargo Handling strategic and operational management and his most recent full-time roles included full operational profit & loss responsibility in the capacity of Chief Operating Officer for Oman Ground Handling and Chief Operating Officer/Senior Vice President for Swissport in Asia Pacific and North America..

Throughout his career, Michael has gained a proven track record in successfully leading  operational and commercial developments – for example, the entry of Swissport into Japan’s Ground and Cargo Handling market.
